Once upon a time in Ottawa, Canada, a little girl named Phipper, her brother Henry and her dad Josh were driving to school. Then her father asked, “Phipper, where would you like to go for vacation?” She said, “I would like to go on a cruise ship.” “But what kind of cruise ship would you like to go on?” asked her dad. “I would like to go on a Disney cruise.” said Phipper. The dad then asked Henry, “Where would you like to go for vacations?” “I would like to go to Brazil! because my friend Marc said that in one aquarium there are sharks and I like sharks.” answered Marc.
The next day her father told Phipper and Marc, “Your mom Liah and I decided that for our vacation, tomorrow we are going on a cruise ship called “Oasis of the seas”. They were very happy that they could go. At midnight they had everything ready to go to Miami because that was where the port where the cruise was going to depart.
When they arrived in Miami, they were waiting at the airport for the shuttlebus to the hotel, La Quinta but they missed the first shuttlebus, so they waited for another shuttlebus. The second came and they arrived at La Quinta. The hotel was so familiar for Phipper. Phipper’s dad said it was because she had gone to the same hotel when she was younger. Phipper and her parents went on a cruise ship before and they stayed at the same hotel.
The next day they had waffles for breakfast and then they waited for the shuttlebus to the port of the cruise. The ship “Oasis of the Seas” looked very big and Phipper and Henry imagined about all the stuff they were going to do all week.
When they walked on the cruise it looked like a city but on a ship. They discovered a water park, the boardwalk park, an arcade, two restaurants, rides, etc. They had a blast the first three days. The first country that they visited was Jamaica and the second country was Haiti.
One the way to the third port, Puerto Rico, the ship had to make a detour because there was an earthquake that caused a tsunami. The Captain of the “Oasis of the Seas”, Thomas Norman was worried and nervous because he had to tell the people on the ship that they could not go to Puerto Rico. He knew that the passengers would be disappointed not to go to Puerto Rico. So, the Captain informed the passengers that instead of going to Puerto Rico because of a tsunami, they were going to visit Cuba.
Phipper and her family were sad but happy at the same time because although there were not going to where they thought, they were going to a new place. They had a blast in Cuba. They bought souvenirs, watched the Cubans play music on the streets, took photos and ate new types of food.
The ship finally arrived in Miami and the vacations were over. Phipper and her family flew back to Canada.
