A subtle pressure on the back of her head And a terrible memory of her husband’s grave Wake her up and make her get up from the bed, Realizing the tears she had on her face.
With a subtle pressure in the back of her head She slowly walks and sits in her rocking chair And visiting her mom, dad, brother and friends She´s carried away by her brain; She lives in the past again.
After looking at her wrinkled hands, She closes softly her eyes And worrying and fearing of death She rapidly to herself says: “Think of the dinner you are having in two days With your beautiful grandchild and your daughter Grace”
Indeed, she enjoyed and lived a lot that day, She could smell the baby’s odor again And, as if she had never gotten apart from Grace, She hugged, laughed and loved her.
A little thought walking around her head And a lovely memory of her husband’s grace Wake her up and make her get up from the bed. Now only living, feeling and not knowing anything about the pain.
